Upcycling: Create useful items from wasteful material. The students will create a Safe Racer Car out of recycled materials from home.

Reducing and Avoiding litter: Students will research ways to reduce on a daily basis. They will also come up with a few ideas on how to prevent littering.

Urban Gardening: Planting in recycled containers, using minimum amounts of water and little or no soil.
